The horizontal suede necklace portrait is a low necklace holder for retail counters, glass showcases and jewellery photography. The core is a resin frame. The outer wrap is suede velvet. That combination keeps the form stable on the counter while giving gold-tone and colour-stone necklaces a soft, even background.
This is not a tall standing bust. The body is arched and sits close to the surface, with a short collar at the top. A necklace drapes across the front of the form instead of hanging down a long torso, which is useful when the showcase is shallow or the jewellery should be read at table height.
Two slots on the reverse take the clasp. They keep the chain centred and stop a pendant from twisting during the day.
